Our Slate White floor is a commercial-grade SnapLock Plus system with a soft stone texture and gloss finish that brightens tents, barns, and ballrooms and makes colored uplighting pop. It is the floor you see in wedding magazines, and it is the one couples ask for by name.
Our smallest floor and the right pick for intimate events. A 9x9 dance floor gives a backyard birthday, a small anniversary dinner, or a rehearsal dinner a real dance space without taking over the yard or the room. It also makes a great first-dance floor or a photo-booth stage.
Sizing guide: a 9x9 dance floor is 81 square feet and comfortably holds 16 to 18 dancers at once. Since about 40 to 50 percent of guests dance at any one time, this size suits events of roughly 32 to 45 guests. Not sure? Call or text us and we will size it for you.
Every Red Stick dance floor rental includes delivery, professional installation, and pickup by our own crew anywhere in the Baton Rouge area. We level the floor, lock the panels, and finish all four sides with beveled edging so there is no trip lip. Setting up outdoors on grass? Add our white Event Decking subfloor in the same 9x9 footprint at checkout; it is required for any outdoor or grass installation so the floor stays flat and stable.

FAQ
Can the dance floor go outside on grass?
Yes. All of our dance floors are waterproof and built for outdoor events. For grass, dirt, gravel, or uneven ground we install a white Event Decking subfloor under the dance floor so it stays level and stable. The subfloor is required for any outdoor setup and is added as an option when you book.
Does the price include delivery and setup?
Yes. Our crew delivers, installs, and picks up every dance floor. Standard delivery covers Baton Rouge, Baker, Zachary, Central, Denham Springs, Prairieville, Gonzales, and surrounding areas within about 30 miles; a small distance fee applies beyond that.
Can I put it in a tent?
Absolutely. Dance floors are most often paired with one of our frame tents. Tell us the tent size and we will confirm the floor fits with room for tables and a DJ.
What if it rains?
The floor itself is waterproof. If you have a tent, the party goes on. We just ask that you let us know about standing water before pickup.
