Spacewalk Rentals in Walker, LA

Matching the Unit to the Grade

Most spacewalk bookings in Walker are birthday parties, and the single most useful thing we can tell you is to pick the unit by school grade rather than by what looks impressive in the photo.

Walker Elementary age, roughly 5 to 10. A classic spacewalk is the right call and the better value. Everyone uses it, nobody needs supervising through an obstacle, and it fits any yard in town. $150–$250.

Walker Junior High age and up. A plain bounce floor loses this group inside twenty minutes. A combo spacewalk — slide down one side, usually a climbing wall — is what keeps them in the yard. $200–$325.

Mixed ages, which is most parties. If your guest list spans more than about four school years, take the combo or take two smaller units. Two units split the group; one big unit just concentrates it.

Themed Units for Younger Children

Themed spacewalks carry character or castle artwork on the same footprint as a classic. For a party where the theme is doing real work — and for younger children it usually is — it costs nothing extra to match the unit to the invitations.

Why “Spacewalk”

It’s the word much of this part of Louisiana grew up using for a bounce house. Same equipment, whichever term you searched.

Setting Up on a Walker Property

Flat ground with clearance all round, a route we can walk a rolled unit along, and power within roughly 100 feet. Most Walker yards have grass, which we stake into — faster and more secure than weighting on a hard surface.

Two local things to mention when you book: whether the setup point is well away from where a truck can park, and whether the spot is out in the open. Exposed ground catches wind, and inflatables come down above certain speeds as a safety rule.
