Our Slate Black floor is a commercial-grade SnapLock Plus system with a subtle stone texture and a glossy finish that catches uplighting and makes a wedding, gala, or corporate party feel like a nightclub for the night. It pairs with any color scheme, hides scuffs better than wood, and photographs beautifully under string lights.
The most popular wedding size. A 12x12 dance floor is the sweet spot for receptions of 60 to 100 guests and fits comfortably inside a 20x20 or 20x30 tent with tables around it. Big enough for a crowded first dance and a full dance floor at the end of the night.
Sizing guide: a 12x12 dance floor is 144 square feet and comfortably holds 28 to 32 dancers at once. Since about 40 to 50 percent of guests dance at any one time, this size suits events of roughly 56 to 80 guests. Not sure? Call or text us and we will size it for you.
Every Red Stick dance floor rental includes delivery, professional installation, and pickup by our own crew anywhere in the Baton Rouge area. We level the floor, lock the panels, and finish all four sides with beveled edging so there is no trip lip. Setting up outdoors on grass? Add our white Event Decking subfloor in the same 12x12 footprint at checkout; it is required for any outdoor or grass installation so the floor stays flat and stable.

FAQ
Can the dance floor go outside on grass?
Yes. All of our dance floors are waterproof and built for outdoor events. For grass, dirt, gravel, or uneven ground we install a white Event Decking subfloor under the dance floor so it stays level and stable. The subfloor is required for any outdoor setup and is added as an option when you book.
Does the price include delivery and setup?
Yes. Our crew delivers, installs, and picks up every dance floor. Standard delivery covers Baton Rouge, Baker, Zachary, Central, Denham Springs, Prairieville, Gonzales, and surrounding areas within about 30 miles; a small distance fee applies beyond that.
Can I put it in a tent?
Absolutely. Dance floors are most often paired with one of our frame tents. Tell us the tent size and we will confirm the floor fits with room for tables and a DJ.
What if it rains?
The floor itself is waterproof. If you have a tent, the party goes on. We just ask that you let us know about standing water before pickup.
